On 20th December 2025, Nufashwa Yafasha Organization proudly hosted its Annual Merry Christmas Fair 2025 at Nufashwa Yafasha School in Ngarama Sector, Gatsibo District. The event brought together children, parents,community members, partners, donors, and local leaders to celebrate Christmas in a spirit of love, unity, and gratitude.
The Merry Christmas Fair is an annual tradition at Nufashwa Yafasha, organized tocreate joyful memories for vulnerable children while strengthening community bonds and promoting the values of education, child protection, and cultural identity.
A Day Filled with Performances and Creativity, the celebration was marked by a rich and colorful program prepared mainly by the children, showcasing their talents and creativity. Attendees enjoyed a variety of performances, including songs, poetry, drama, modeling, and traditional dances.
A special highlight of the day was the theatre performance about the birth of Jesus Christ, which reminded everyone of the true meaning of Christmas love, humility, hope, and sharing. Through poetry and drama, the children delivered powerful messages of peace, kindness, and gratitude, touching the hearts of all guests present.
The traditional dance performances reflected Rwanda’s rich cultural heritage and demonstrated the importance of preserving culture while nurturing young talent.
The modeling sessions added excitement and confidence among the children, showing their self-expression and joy in a safe and supportive environment.
Sharing Food, Drinks, and Smiles
The Merry Christmas Fair was also a moment of sharing. Children and guests enjoyed food and drinks, creating a warm festive atmosphere where everyone felt included. For many children supported by Nufashwa Yafasha, this celebration was not only a festive event but also a reminder that they are valued, cared for, and supported by a wider community.
