The Chairperson of Transparency International Rwanda, Ingabire Marie Immaculée, has passed away at the age of 64. News of her death was confirmed this morning, October 9, 2025, by Transparency International Rwanda, through an official announcement shared on its social media platforms.
The statement read: “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our chairperson, Ingabire Marie Immaculée, who died on the morning of October 9, 2025, after a period of illness.”
Transparency International Rwanda also extended condolences to her family, relatives, and friends during this difficult time.
