Spread the love

From Nyamata Town in Bugesera District, Rwanda, a new creative powerhouse is making waves. His name is IRATUZI Anicet, popularly known as Oyeee Beatz — a multi-talented music producer and recording artist working at Soul’s Music Studio. His vision extends far beyond Rwanda; he is determined to project his voice and beats onto the international stage.

Born on 31 May in Tanzania, Oyeee Beatz prefers to keep his exact age private. With a touch of humor, he says he has “many years” and compares his shyness about revealing it to young women who keep their age secret. But when it comes to his dream, he is fearless: to become a global star who creates music that motivates, inspires, and shakes the foundations of international showbiz.

“Montana” — A Song for Dreamers

His latest single, “Montana,” is more than just a release; it is a message to every hustler chasing success.
Montana is for people on the journey of destiny,” Oyeee Beatz says. “It gives comfort, motivation, and strength.”

With at least six music videos already available on his YouTube channel (Oyeee Beatz) and many more unreleased tracks in the pipeline, his catalog is steadily growing. But “Montana” feels like the breakthrough song — the one pulling him out of the underground and onto bigger stages, with major artists already reaching out for collaborations.

Thinking Big, Dreaming Bigger

Oyeee Beatz refuses to limit himself. He has declared that he will one day host his own live concert at BK Arena, Rwanda’s most prestigious performance venue. His ambitions don’t end there: he dreams of producing a track for Nigeria’s Rema and securing an international collaboration with Chris Brown.

Speaking Out on Industry Challenges

Oyeee Beatz enters Rwanda’s music industry at a time when tensions are high. Many producers are turning into recording artists, creating quiet conflicts with established musicians. When asked about the issue, he admits it’s a “hard question” but openly criticizes producers who hold back music even after being paid. His willingness to address uncomfortable truths sets him apart as a voice unafraid of controversy.

Fame Belongs to God, Not Witchcraft

In African showbiz, whispers often circulate about artists seeking powers from witch doctors. Oyeee Beatz strongly rejects such practices.
I don’t believe in that,” he insists. “Fame comes from God. Witchcraft is madness.”

Rising Fame and Media Buzz

Now on a media tour promoting “Montana,” Oyeee Beatz is quickly becoming a recognizable name. His appearances on national TV and radio have sparked excitement, generating calls from fans and invitations from other musicians. With a smile, he admits the attention is also coming from women:
“I’m in love with many girls, and they know this,” he says playfully.

Eyes on Global Showbiz

More than local success, Oyeee Beatz envisions himself on the global stage. He dreams of creating music in world-class studios, representing Rwanda at international levels, and eventually rising as a Hollywood music producer and icon. He proudly recalls the moment when Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz listened to one of his songs, taking it as a sign of the global reach his music can achieve.

A Call for Support

Despite his rising fame, Oyeee Beatz urges established artists to lift up emerging talent. “Tomorrow’s legends are hidden among today’s unknowns,” he says, emphasizing the need for mentorship and collaboration.

For Oyeee Beatz, the mission is crystal clear: to create music that motivates, dominate global showbiz, and carry Rwanda’s name all the way to Hollywood.
