Rwandan rising artist Alik Bulan (Ishimwe Manoa) is proving that music can change lives beyond the stage. Just days after releasing his highly anticipated album “24 Hours”, the singer-songwriter extended his passion from art to action by donating food supplies valued at $700 to vulnerable children supported by Nufashwa Yafasha Organization.
Through his Manoa Family Foundation, Alik Bulan partnered with Nufashwa Yafasha to provide essential supplies that will support families in Ngarama, Gatsibo District. The donation is part of his growing commitment to giving back to the community that inspires his music.
“Music is not just about entertainment; it’s about creating change. With this album, I wanted to not only reach people’s hearts but also touch their lives in real, practical ways,” Alik said during the handover.
The singer hinted that this is just the beginning. Plans are already underway for a major philanthropic initiative in February 2026, where he aims to expand the reach of his foundation’s support for education and community development.
The Founder of Nufashwa Yafasha, Jean Paul Bujyacyera, applauded Alik’s contribution, noting that it reflects the true spirit of youth leadership in Rwanda:
“We are grateful for Manoa’s generosity. His music inspires, but his actions change lives. Partnerships like this help us ensure that children not only dream but also have the resources to achieve those dreams,” he said.
